Playing with Pattern: Fussy Cutting Techniques for English Paper Piecing
We will be curating a very special collection of fat quarters that you can purchase for this class. These fabrics are guaranteed to provide you with amazing results. We are planning to include Tula Pink, Anna Maria Horner, Tilda, and Dashwood Studio fabrics along with several other surprise fabrics. However, you are welcome to bring your own fabric. The class will utilize honeycomb shapes related to the pattern, Patchwork of the Crosses, but the techniques can be transferred to any English Paper Piecing (EPP) design. We will save time by utilizing precut paper templates
along with acrylic view finders.

| Skill Details: | Confident Beginner to Expert. Participants should have some experience with EPP techniques. If you are interested in taking an introductory EPP class, please refer to the Getting Started with English Paper Piecing class being offered at Quilted Ewe in April. |
| Requirements: | Required Supplies Fabric: Cotton quilting fabric. 3-5 different fabrics. Our special fat quarter collection will be available to participants once they enroll for the class. Thread: 100% cotton thread. You will need one or two contrasting colors for basting. Sewing Notions: Fabric clips, Fabric glue pen, Fabric marking pen, Hand sewing needles, Rotary cutter with a new blade, Cutting mat, Add a quarter ruler, and a Needle threader.
