Daybreak

This pattern lends itself to lots of looks. If you use Christmas fabric it will look like wreaths. The rulers you need for class will teach you new techniques to use in many other quilting projects. Come join me for a day of fun and make yourself a beautiful quilt. Please have some fabric strips cut out before coming to class so you can dive right in and learn how to use the rulers and start sewing! You don't have to use fat quarters but it is fat quarter friendly (except for the background fabric).

Bring lunch or a snack if you’d like.

Skill Details: You will also be required to have a working knowledge of your sewing machine.  The class schedule does not allow the instructor time to assist students with their machines.  We recommend you bring your sewing machine manual to class in the event you run into a problem.

Supply List:

• “Daybreak” pattern by Jaybird Quilts

• Rulers:  Sidekick Ruler (small) and Hex-n-More Ruler by Jaybird Quilts

• Sewing Machine in good working order, cord, foot pedal and 1/4" presser foot

• Standard Sewing tools (new machine needle, straight pins, fabric scissors, seam ripper, neutral/matching thread, filled bobbins, etc.)

• Rotary cutter with new blade

• Cutting Mat

• Fabric requirements are as per the pattern, depending on which size quilt you choose to make.
