Introduction to Paper Piecing

In this workshop you will learn how to paper piece - machine stitching our fabric directly onto a printed paper foundation to produce precise points.  We will discuss the benefits of paper piecing tools, how to prepare your pattern, types of foundation paper, and when to remove the paper.  This is a hands-on technique class where you will complete a heart block and a flying geese block.  Your blocks can be turned into mug rugs, or a small hanging quilt, table topper or pillow with a few more blocks (see class sample).  Block patterns are included in class fee.
