Reverse Applique is a great technique to showcase and make your work original. You will work with the multiple templates to make dandelion motif applique on a large piece of background fabric. You will learn how to trace the motif on the fabric, use freezer paper as an outline to make the shapes, fold the applique seam in place nicely, and baste and sew the applique. By project completion, you will be confident with the technique!

Are you ready to turn your valuable stash of scraps into new beautiful projects? Come meet and sew with other quilters as we gather new ideas to help us make a dent in our scrap stash. We will gather together the second Thursday of each month, and start off with an introduction to a new scrappy pattern and then we will be hands-on making the blocks for this new pattern. There is not an instructor for this group – we will all be learning from one another. We encourage members to sign up to share their scrappy ideas at a future gathering. Bring your sewing machine and supplies so you will be ready to sew!
